Patient & Visitor Code of Conduct

This serves as a set of guidelines established to ensure both patients and visitors maintain respectful and appropriate behavior.

Violence, abuse (verbal or physical) and uncivil behavior is not tolerated in this organization. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in discharge and/or removal from Good Shepherd Rehabilitation premises.

The following behaviors are prohibited and violate our Code of Conduct:

  • Possession or threats of weapons and/or firearms
  • Violent, threatening or abusive behavior toward staff
  • Yelling, using profanity or engaging in other behaviors that disrupt
    patient care and treatment
  • Use of any medication not prescribed by your provider and administered
    by nursing staff
  • Use of illegal drugs, alcohol or contraband
  • Appearing under the influence of drugs, alcohol or illegal toxic
    substances
  • Offensive comments regarding race, gender, religion, sexual
    orientation, etc.
  • Taking photos, videos or recordings of anyone without their knowledge
    or consent
  • Destruction of Good Shepherd property
  • Failure to follow established visitation guideline
