Inspiration at Good Shepherd takes many forms. And it happens every day. It’s a woman whose had a stroke and takes her first steps thanks to innovative technology and clinical expertise. It’s a teen-ager whose suffered a traumatic brain injury and defies all the odds to start walking and talking again. It’s a young man with multiple sclerosis who finds companionship and support every week at our MS Wellness Program. And it’s the child with autism who begins communicating with the world after years of relative isolation.
These are the stories you’ll find right here. And they’re all made possible thanks to the generosity of donors like you who continue to support our mission of serving people with disabilities by giving them hope, healing and lives of greater independence.
“Jared has worked very hard to achieve his goal,” says Jana Brown, Jared’s mother. “His therapists at Good Shepherd know how to inspire Jared and when to push him. They always have his goals in mind. The staff is stupendous.”
