Back Pain Treatment

Most people experience back pain at some point in their lives – but you don’t have to live with it.

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network’s specialized physicians and therapists lead a team approach to find answers, reduce your back pain and guide you back to everyday activities through non-surgical rehabilitation options.

Common Causes of Back Pain

Back pain can be a result of injury, illness or age. Some of the most common causes include:

  • Arthritis of the spine —the gradual thinning of the cartilage inside the spine
  • Spinal stenosis —narrowing of the spinal canal that may lead to nerve pain
  • Disc problems, such as a herniated or bulging disc

If the source of your back pain is unknown, your best option may be to work with your care provider to reduce pain and flare-ups with nonsurgical treatments.

Treatment Options for Back Pain
