Vice President, Advancement & Marketing
Carry Gerber oversees institutional advancement functions for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, including marketing, communications, development, and government, volunteer and community relations. Carry also leads advancement and marketing strategies for Good Shepherd Penn Partners, a joint venture with Penn Medicine. Since joining the organization in 2011, Carry has assumed roles of increasing responsibility, including serving previously as Administrative (System) Director, Marketing & Communications, and Manager, Marketing & Communications.
Prior to joining Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, Carry served as manager of marketing and communications for Lehigh Valley Children’s Centers, Inc., where she managed marketing, communications and public relations for 22 early care and education centers.
Carry earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English/professional writing from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development, Forum for Healthcare Strategists and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She also is an active volunteer in her community, currently serving on the Board of the Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties and as Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. She previously served on the Boards of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley and the Allentown Chamber.
