Join us at Saucon Valley Country Club on August 17 for the 40th Annual NAGA (National Amputee Golf Association) First Swing Seminar and Learn to Golf Clinic.
The first of its kind in the United States, the free NAGA First Swing Seminar and Learn to Golf Clinic teaches the basics of golf to individuals with disabilities and also teaches therapists and golf professionals how to instruct people in adaptive golf techniques.
If you have always wanted to take a swing at the game of golf, join other therapists and individuals with disabilities from the community at this energizing clinic.
There is a supply of golf clubs to use if you don’t have any; however, attendees are welcome to bring your own golf clubs.

The First Swing seminar for therapists and golf pros costs $30. CEU credits are available.
Join us August 17, 2026, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Saucon Valley Country Club, 2050 Saucon Valley Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
Lunch will be provided.
Assistance will be offered to you every step of the way. There will be shuttles going back and forth from the parking lot and driving range. Therapists from Good Shepherd will be there to help with the adaptive equipment on site and golf professionals will be there to assist with golf tips and tricks.
8-9 a.m.
Classroom discussion covering the basic techniques of golf, including rates and special equipment. Therapists will experience some of the challenges individuals with disabilities must overcome to play the game.
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Therapists will teach golf to people with disabilities under the direction of “Learn to Golf” instructors consisting of local golf pros and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation staff members.
12-1 p.m.
1-2:30 p.m.
