Stay Strong Program for Medicare Patients

Do you have a parent or other relative who could improve or maintain their current physical condition? Skilled therapy, under the guidance of a licensed therapist, can help aging adults maintain function, increase strength and prevent physical decline.

For decades, Medicare beneficiaries —particularly those with long-term or debilitating conditions and those needing rehabilitation services —were denied care. That has changed, and maintenance therapy is now covered even if a condition is not likely to improve.

If you were previously denied Medicare coverage for maintenance therapy, you can now take advantage of Good Shepherd’s Stay Strong Program. Good Shepherd offers skilled therapy, under the guidance of a licensed therapist, to help you maintain function, increase strength and prevent decline.
