Retired Marine Corps Colonel Regains Confidence

Colonel Stephen Fenstermacher, USMC, Retired, from Kutztown, Pa., had his life changed in an instant when crossing the street in his town.

Steve details his severe lower limb injury, the challenges he faced during outpatient rehabilitation and his path back to family, activities and serving his community.

“The thing they did most for me was give me confidence in what I could do again because I had lost that,” Steve said.
