CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs Sandeep Singh, MD, FAAPMR, has been named the Thomas Strax, MD, National Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Leadership Award winner.
The honor was part of the Temple Health Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Leadership and Clinical Awards for Academic Year 2024-2025, which were held May 29 at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital in Center Valley.
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation collaborates with the Temple University Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program, matching highly qualified candidates in the field of physiatry for a three-year categorical training program at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital.
Colleagues from Good Shepherd and Temple Health gathered at the awards event to celebrate Dr. Singh and two Temple honorees.
Dr. Sam S. H. Wu, Chair and Residency Program Director, Temple Health Department of PM&R, led the awards presentation.
Temple’s Dr. Bryan O’Young received the Martin Grabois, MD, International Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Leadership Award and Temple’s Dr. Andrea Brown received the Steven Stiens, MD, Master Clinician Award.
