Stronger Together: Parkinson’s Mingle and Learn

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation will host Stronger Together: Parkinson’s Mingle and Learn, an event with Dr. Casey H. Halpern (bio), a functional neurosurgeon with Penn Medicine.

At this free event, Dr. Halpern will discuss Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Focused Ultrasound (FUS), when to consider advanced therapies for Parkinson’s disease, and what to expect before, during and after treatment.

The event also will feature information on physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and Rock Steady Boxing.
