The first of its kind in the United States, the free NAGA First Swing Seminar and Learn to Golf Clinic teaches the basics of golf to individuals with disabilities and also teaches therapists and golf professionals how to instruct people in adaptive golf techniques.
If you have always wanted to take a swing at the game of golf, join other therapists and individuals with disabilities from the community at this energizing clinic.

8-9 a.m.
Classroom discussion covering the basic techniques of golf, including rules and special equipment. Therapists will experience some of the challenges individuals with disabilities must overcome to play the game.
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Therapists will teach golf to people with disabilities under the direction of “Learn to Golf” instructors consisting of local golf pros and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation staff members.
12-1 p.m.
1-2:30 p.m.
Bring your golf clubs and be ready for a day of instruction and fun. Registration is required. Space is limited.
