Pediatric Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient rehabilitation at Good Shepherd Pediatrics offers the most current therapeutic approaches and state-of-the-art technologies to help children with developmental and/or physical disabilities or injuries live their lives to the fullest.

Outpatient therapy is available after an inpatient stay or after an injury, illness or diagnosis.

Equipment and Bracing Clinics

To participate in the Equipment Clinic, your child must receive a physician’s prescription for an “Physical Therapy Evaluation.”

To participate in the Bracing Clinic, your child will need a physician’s prescription for a “Physical Therapy Bracing Evaluation.”

Adaptive Wheelchair Seating and Mobility

Children who require wheelchairs or mobility systems are referred to the Good Shepherd Wheelchair and Adaptive Seating Clinic at the Harry C. Trexler Center for Assistive Technology Robert & Marian Edwards Center. There, children are evaluated for proper seating and positioning, which provides maximum safety and comfort.
