Multiple Sclerosis Program: Therapeutic Art

Good Shepherd’s MS Wellness Program offers a series of six-week therapeutic art classes where individuals with multiple sclerosis and other disabilities are encouraged to explore the healing benefits of art creation and participation.

No specific art skills are needed for the class, which introduces students to various art mediums that provides the freedom to create and explore art. Assistance is provided to participants if necessary, and participants are invited to bring a family member or care provider if required.

Students complete at least one original art piece that is matted. All art materials are supplied by Good Shepherd. Assistance will also be provided throughout the class for those who require additional help with participation in the art experience.

Each class runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost for the program varies depending on class materials. All art supplies are included. To inquire about the next scheduled class, call Jerry Werner at 610-778-9303.
