Thank you for choosing Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network’s
virtual services. We look forward to helping you remotely to ensure your best
recovery.
The following are tips and reminders to help you prepare for
your upcoming telehealth video visit:
- Ensure your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone
has video capabilities.
- Set up your device in an area where you have
enough room to exercise.
- You will receive a meeting invite to your email
address on file.
- Good Shepherd is using Zoom, which is a HIPAA-compliant
video platform, to perform telehealth video visits.
- When it is time for your virtual appointment,
click the “Join Zoom Meeting” link in
the email you received from Good Shepherd. The link will look like this:
- Once you click the “Join Zoom Meeting” link, Zoom will automatically download (if you
have not used Zoom before).
- You will receive prompts to download Zoom. Once
it is downloaded, select the “Run” option
to launch Zoom.
- Once Zoom is launched, it will ask you to select
your audio type. You can choose to call in for the meeting with your phone, or you
can use your device’s (i.e., computer, laptop, tablet) audio.
- After you have made your audio selection, you will then enter the Zoom meeting, and your appointment will begin.
