Marlene Fowler

Marlene “Linny” Fowler, one of the Lehigh Valley’s most endearing philanthropists and a loving Good Shepherd donor, passed away on February 4, 2013, at the age of 73. Her legendary generosity and a heart that knew no bounds prompted her to support many philanthropic endeavors, both publicly and privately. Good Shepherd was blessed to be included in Linny’s generous embrace, which was shared by her husband of 51 years, Beall, and extended back to 1989 and what would be the first of many gifts over the years.

The Fowler’s mutual passion for children’s causes was expressed through many donations over the years to Good Shepherd and reached its zenith in 2003 with a generous gift establishing The Linny and Beall Fowler Endowment for Pediatrics. They were honored in 2005 with the Raker Memorial Award.
