R.K. Laros Foundation Grant Benefits Good Shepherd’s Smallest Patients

We are so very grateful to the R.K. Laros Foundation for a $20,000 grant supporting the purchase of two Stryker Cub cribs for Good Shepherd’s Emily Howatt Pliskatt Pediatric Unit in Bethlehem. The crib’s low-stimulation environment and pressure-relieving mattress create a quiet and restful sleeping space enhancing the comfort and safety of our tiniest of patients. Generosity from donors like this are vital to supporting Good Shepherd’s mission of service to children and adults with disabilities.

Founded in 1952, the R.K. Laros Foundation, Inc, a non-profit charitable trust, was established by Mr. Russell K. Laros and Mrs. Helen K. Laros. The foundation was established to support community non-profit organizations serving the arts, education, the environment, health, historical preservation and public and human services.
