In which areas of rehabilitation do you specialize?
I specialize in spine rehabilitation, brain injuries, orthopedics, vestibular and balance issues and headaches.
What specialty certifications do you hold?
- McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (cert MDT)
- Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS)
Which rehabilitation technologies do you utilize in your work?
I use the AlterG Bionic Leg™, which helps patients to increase weight bearing in the effected leg.
What motivates you?
I love to see patients achieve their goals and become more independent and pain free.
What attracted you to a career in healthcare?
I enjoyed sports in high school and wanted to have a career in health care. Physical therapy was a nice mix of exercise and science.
Why do you choose to work at Good Shepherd?
In college, I had the opportunity to do a clinical rotation for Good Shepherd. When I graduated, I was glad to join an organization with a great reputation.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of Good Shepherd?
I enjoy playing with my kids, hiking and watching sports.
