What attracted you to a career in healthcare?
I was active and athletic when I was younger and had my share of bumps, breaks and bruises. Caring for my own injuries, I became interested in the body’s ability to heal itself. During college, I learned more about specialized rehabilitation and became fascinated with the hand.
Why do you choose to work at Good Shepherd?
The people at Good Shepherd are motivated by faith to help anyone who comes our way. This is the reason we exist. I am incredibly fortunate to work with gifted, compassionate people who do everything possible to ensure our patients’ health and overall well-being.
What are your hobbies and special interests outside of Good Shepherd?
My wife, three daughters and I love sports of all kinds. I also am active at my church and enjoy Bible study. In my spare time, I collect coins and have a morning newspaper route. (Yes, I am an early bird!)
What does “Beyond Limits Rehab” mean to you?
The Good Shepherd team will stop at nothing to help you be the best you can be. We are dedicated to working hard with every patient, because without pushing yourself, you will never know how much you can achieve.
Why should patients choose Good Shepherd?
There is a level of care and compassion here that simply does not exist anywhere else.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
The people I have met through Good Shepherd have all touched my life in one way or another. I learn something from each person I meet that helps me become a better person. I am blessed.
