In which areas of rehabilitation do you specialize?
I specialize in helping patients recover from spinal cord injury and amputation. In addition, I have specialized training and expertise in cardiac rehabilitation, bowel and bladder management, sexuality and urodynamic testing.

Which rehabilitation technologies do you utilize in your work?
Rehabilitation nursing is highly specialized, and we use several special devices, such as urodynamic testing machines, assistive devices for bowel and bladder management, peritoneal dialysis, Wound Vac, etc. We also work with patients on ventilators and living with ventricular assist devices, both of which require special training.
What motivates you?
I am motivated by my patients’ successes and my passion for continuing education. Healthcare is an ever-evolving field – to stay on the leading edge, health care professionals need to continue to develop and to hone new skills.
What attracted you to a career in healthcare?
I wanted an opportunity to give patients back their lives.
