For 34 years, the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network family has gathered at the Raker Memorial Awards to celebrate the Raker legacy and our most valued supporters.
Good Shepherd has been blessed with community support from the time the organization’s doors opened in 1908. From the first 50 cents given to the Rev. John Raker to help advance his dream of a home for disabled children and seniors, to the small and large donations made today by individuals, corporations, community groups, and foundations, Good Shepherd has always benefitted from the spirit of giving.
The 2020 virtual edition of this annual event honored employee Annette Span, PTA, ATRIC, as the Raker Spirit Award recipient.
Gary Schmidt, MA, chair of Good Shepherd’s Board of Trustees, was presented with the Raker Memorial Award.
