pediatrics appointments

If you have upcoming scheduled appointments with Good Shepherd Pediatrics, or if your child needs occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy or physician care, here are tips and reminders to keep in mind.

Before You Leave the House

This is a friendly reminder of COVID-19 screening questions before you arrive for an appointment:

  • Have you or anyone in your household traveled outside of Pennsylvania in the past 14 days?
  • Have you had anyone visit your household from outside of the state of Pennsylvania in the past 14 days?
  • Do you or anyone in your household have any chest pain, cough, shortness of breath, muscle or body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion (Note: this includes a runny nose), nausea or vomiting, fever or chills, diarrhea, or loss of taste/smell?
  • Have you or anyone in your household experienced any strange rashes or noticed any skin discolorations?
  • To your knowledge, have you or any member in your household been in contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID?

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, please call 1-888-44-REHAB to discuss options for telehealth, telecoaching or rescheduling your appointment.

Additional Reminders/Safety Precautions

  • We ask that all adults wear a mask while in the building. If possible, we ask that your child wear a mask if 2 years old and up.
  • Please maintain a 10-foot distance from others if your child has difficulty wearing a mask.
  • We ask that only one adult accompany your child to the appointment.
  • We ask that siblings stay at home. If this is not possible, please talk to your therapist about other accommodations.
  • Please wash/sanitize your hands.
  • Please do not eat or drink in the waiting room. Help us keep a clean and safe environment for everyone.
