Good Shepherd received an added boost of positivity this week as Chris P. Bacon, one of the “pork racers” mascots from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs minor-league baseball team, led cheers of support for rehab patients, long-term care residents and staff.
On a sunny spring day, Good Shepherd Associates gathered safely outside of the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital and Good Shepherd Home – Raker Center in Allentown with Chris P. Bacon to show appreciation for our health-care heroes. Supporters waved, held up handmade signs and cheered, as patients and residents waved and cheered right back.
