Good Shepherd Golf & Tennis Invitational for Pediatrics To Be Held September 9

Event Benefits Children with Physical and Developmental Disabilities and Autism

The Good Shepherd Golf & Tennis Invitational for Pediatrics will be held on Monday, September 9, at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem. The golf tournament begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace course. Gerald Nau, chairman & CEO of Lafayette Ambassador Bank, is this year’s tournament chair.

The tournament will raise funds for the Good Shepherd Pediatrics Program, which provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for children with autism, developmental delays or physical disabilities, or those who are recovering from accidents, injuries or illnesses. Good Shepherd’s Pediatrics Program is home to the only board-certified developmental pediatrician in the region and the only pediatric physical therapy and rehabilitation physician. In addition, Good Shepherd also operates the only inpatient rehabilitation unit for children in the greater Lehigh Valley. Good Shepherd annually provides approximately $500,000 in charity care to support the Pediatrics Program.
