The beloved “pork racer” mascots from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs minor-league baseball team held an official on-site pork race in support of our care team and to recognize our nurses during National Nurses Week.
Good Shepherd Associates, long-term care residents and patients gathered at Good Shepherd’s Allentown and Bethlehem campuses to cheer on the “pork racers” and to show appreciation for our health-care heroes.
Congratulations to Diggity for finishing first in both races! And thank you, IronPigs, for the boost of positivity.
