Brain Injury Support Groups

Each year, more than 1.5 million Americans suffer a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Of those individuals, approximately 70,000 to 90,000 experience significant physical, intellectual, emotional, behavioral, social and vocational impairments. If you are suffering from the lingering effects of a TBI, the Lehigh Valley Brain Injury Support Group can ensure that you do not have to face your challenges alone.

Good Shepherd's Brain Injury Support Groups (Allentown and Stroudsburg) are open to adults with brain injuries, their families and friends, medical and rehabilitation professionals and all caring people who are working to promote better understanding, treatment and quality of life for people with brain injury.

The free support groups provide participants the opportunity to socialize with others, learn about new treatments and new developments in care, and become aware of legislative matters of concern to people with brain injury.
