Members of the Raker Vision donor society will gather on Thursday, April 19 at 6 p.m. The Raker Vision is a philanthropic partnership between Good Shepherd and donors who share our vision of charitable giving through an investment of $5,000 or more annually. New members are welcome.
The Women's Giving Circle meets on Wednesday, April 25 to consider fund raising proposals presented during the year by Good Shepherd staff. The Women's Circle is a group of philanthropic women supporting Good Sheperd's mission of service to people with disabilities. The group will select one or more programs to receive funds and announce the winning proposals at the annual meeting on June 28.
Shake off the winter blues and support Good Shepherd's mission at the 24th Annual Conrad W. Raker Sporting Clays on Friday, May 4 at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. Start the day with a continental breakfast followed by a 9:30 a.m. start. The event ends with a delicious barbeque dinner and raffle. The cost to participate is $275 per shooter or $1,750 for a squad.
Gala in the Garden is one of the premiere fund raisers in the Lehigh Valley with proceeds benefitting the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital Emily Howatt Pliskatt Pediatric Unit in Bethlehem. Join gala chair Ron Donchez of BB&T on Saturday, June 2, 6-11 p.m., in the Healing Gardens on Good Shepherd's south Allentown campus.
Tickets are $250 each or $3.000 for a table.
Members of the 1908 Raker Society at Good Shepherd will meet for their annual luncheon on Friday, June 15 in Good Shepherd's Health & Technology Center on the south Allentown campus. Invitations will be mailed in May. RSVP by June 1, 610-778-1075.
