Funding in Action
Carol Henn, executive director of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation (LVCF), hears a lot of good things in the course of work. But something really special came out of a visit to Good Shepherd that resonated deeply. While touring Good Shepherd's outpatient pediatric program, her face broke into a big smile when she was told that no child is ever turned away because of lack of funds or the severity of the child's disability.
That in itself was a gift to the LVCF which under Carol's leadership has given or directed 24 grants totaling more than $68,000 to Good Shepherd. The foundation's gifts have supported people with disabilities in a wide range of programs and services at Good Shepherd from long-term care residents to pediatrics.
Good Shepherd relies on foundations like the LVCF to support its mission of charitable care. You can be a part of that mission too by giving whatever you can. Gifts can be made safely and securely online by clicking here.
