Occupational Medicine: Healthcare Workers

At Good Shepherd’s Occupational Medicine Program, we treat workers from all occupations, but we have a special focus on the treatment of work-related injuries suffered by health-care professionals.

If you are a nurse, C.N.A., therapist or physician and you have been injured on the job, or you have a medical condition that interferes with work, Good Shepherd’s Occupational Medicine Program can help. We are here to get you back working at your optimal level quickly and to teach you how to work safely to avoid future injury.

The team at Good Shepherd’s Occupational Medicine Program treats all musculoskeletal injuries, with a focus on back, upper extremity and hand injuries.

In our work simulation area, our certified therapists will show you how to properly lift patients and perform other daily work activities. Through aerobic conditioning, strength training, body mechanics training and stretching, our team will increase your physical capacity as it relates to your job.
