Incontinence
Bladder function is often compromised as the result of spinal cord injury, brain injury, or stroke. Good Shepherd's Continence Training Program provides specialized bladder function testing which helps indicate the appropriate fluids, medication, bladder training, or surgical intervention needed to assist in increased continence levels.
Inner Ear Disorders
Designed to help relieve the symptoms associated with inner ear disorders, Good Shepherd's outpatient Vestibular Rehabilitation Program addresses positional vertigo and imbalance through a number of proven rehabilitative techniques.
Severe Disabilities
Good Shepherd provides long-term care for people with severe disabilities. Between our Good Shepherd Home—Allentown at the Conrad W. Raker Center and Good Shepherd Home—Bethlehem, Good Shepherd offers two state-of-the-art long-term care facilities with over 150 beds between them.
Lymphedema
Designed to help treat and relieve lymphedema symptoms, Good Shepherd's Lymphedema Management Program focuses on Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), a gentle yet precise massage technique that mobilizes excess tissue fluid and promotes normal functioning of the lymphatic system.

Managed by a team of experienced professionals, Good Shepherd's Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program is an aggressive, holistic approach to rehabilitation designed to restore individuals to their highest potential physically, socially, and emotionally.
Stroke
Good Shepherd's Stroke Rehabilitation Program provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for stroke patients and their caregivers. A team of stroke specialists is directed and monitored by a physician specializing in physical and medical rehabilitation (physiatrist).
Swallowing Disorders
As part of an integrated approach to rehabilitation, Good Shepherd's speech and language therapy department provides a Dysphagia Program for any inpatient or outpatient experiencing swallowing disorders.
Wound Conditions
Good Shepherd's Wound Care Program provides specialized care for the treatment of wound conditions which are not complex enough to warrant inpatient complex wound care or wounds which have healed to the point that the patient may return home.
