Good Shepherd To Offer "Broken Art" Classes in Sketching with Mixed Media6/12/2009
Good Shepherd’s MS Wellness Program Offers This Eight-Week Class Beginning June 17
ALLENTOWN, PA - The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Wellness Program  at Good Shepherd, a program that provides support for individuals with MS, will host a unique eight-week “broken art” creativity class , “Sketching with Mixed Media,” beginning on Wednesday, June 17, 2009.
The class will be held on the second floor of the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, 850 S. Fifth St., Allentown, on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration, which is required, is open to the public, and individuals with multiple sclerosis and other disabilities are encouraged to register.
During the eight-week session, the class will introduce students to sketching techniques using pencil, graphite, conte crayon and charcoal. A variety of artists will be explored. No specific art skills are needed.
All art materials will be supplied by Good Shepherd. Assistance will also be provided throughout the class for those who require additional help with participation in the art experience.
