One of the strengths that drew me to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network was the organizational culture. Each staff member is ingrained with a high level of compassion and spirit of innovation that have become the calling cards of the Good Shepherd brand.
It is compassion and innovation that set the organization a part from the competition – and rank us as a national leader in rehabilitation. For more than 100 years, we’ve been leading the field, delivering excellent service and innovative technologies to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
How do we keep moving forward? We nurture innovation.
Consider some of the cutting-edge technologies, programs and services we made available to our patients in the past year:
Another testament to GSRN’s innovation is conference attendance. This week, a number of Good Shepherd staff members are in Florida presenting at the annual conference of the American Medical Rehabilitation Provider’s Association (AMRPA). It’s just one of many conferences at which Good Shepherd staff members are scheduled to present in the next few months.
Conferences are great opportunities to exchange knowledge and expertise with other rehabilitation providers – to share what we’ve learned from our patients in order to help others who face similar challenges throughout the world.
Innovation doesn’t happen in a vacuum. We are able to provide the highest level of recovery to our patients by encouraging think time, nurturing ideas, and continuing to teach, collaborate and learn from one another.
Personally, I can’t wait to see what happens next!
