Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network will mark the opening of its newest outpatient site, Good Shepherd Physical Therapy – Bethlehem /Performing Arts Rehabilitation Center, with an open house on Wednesday, May 1, from 3 to 7 p.m. Located at 800 Eaton Avenue, Bethlehem, the site offers physical therapy services for the general public as well as specialized therapy services for performing artists.
The public is invited to meet the staff and tour the 3,000-square-foot facility, which is equipped with private patient care evaluation and treatment rooms, a dance floor with full-length mirrors and sound-proof room for musicians.
The event will offer free headache and posture screenings, blood pressure checks, balance/fall risk evaluations and stroke risk assessments.The site offers a full range of orthopedic physical therapy services for the general public, including treatment for a variety of conditions, such as arthritis, sprains and strains, joint replacement, headaches, neurological disorders and fibromyalgia. It is also the first rehabilitation center in the region to offer specialized therapy for performing artists to treat injuries and conditions related to overuse or fatigue.
The new site is one of more than 20 Good Shepherd outpatient physical therapy facilities  located in 7 eastern Pennsylvania counties.
