Good Shepherd Home—Allentown offers intermediate, heavy, or skilled nursing care for persons with physical disabilities. A 99-bed facility, Good Shepherd Home—Allentown is located at the Conrad W. Raker Center and is open to residents 12 years old or older with primary diagnoses including, but not limited to, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, quadriplegia, or Multiple Sclerosis. Residents may be referred by a physician, insurance company, discharge planner/social worker, home health agency, family member, or self-referral.

• 24-hour rehabilitative and restorative nursing care
• Daily occupational therapy [2] activities
• Pastoral care including linkage with outside congregations, weekly ecumenical worship, and religious education program
• Physical therapy services [3]designed to improve physical function as related to independence, comfort, and well-being
• Social work service
• Speech and language therapy [4]
• Recreational therapy designed to provide residents with a well-rounded lifestyle
