FROM:

• North of Allentown (Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, etc.)
• South of Allentown (Philadelphia, Bucks County, Lansdale, Southern New Jersey)

VIA: Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike (Rt. 476)

DIRECTIONS:

• Take Exit 56 (Rt. 22, I-78, Rt. 309, Allentown, Harrisburg) on your right.
• Take the Lehigh Valley Interchange ramp.
• Take the Rt. 22 East (Rt. 309, I-78 East, Allentown) ramp on your right.
• Take the Rt. 309 South Exit (to Quakertown) on your right.
• Continue onto Rt. 309 South.
• Take the I-78 East ramp.
• Take Exit 57 (Lehigh Street) on your right.
• Take the Lehigh Street North ramp on your left.
• Turn left onto Lehigh Street.
• Stay in the right lane as you travel through six traffic lights.
• About 1/10 mile past the sixth traffic light, veer right onto St. John Street.
• Travel several blocks and make a right at the second traffic light onto South Sixth Street (you are now circling the Good Shepherd campus).
• Make the first left onto Wyoming Street.
• Make a left onto South Fifth Street.
• The Good Shepherd Parking Deck is located on your right.

FROM:

• East of Allentown (Central or Northern New Jersey, New York City)
• West of Allentown (Harrisburg, Kutztown)
• Some visitors traveling from inside the Lehigh Valley will also want to take I-78 (those living in South Bethlehem, South Easton, Hellertown, Fogelsville, etc.)

VIA: Interstate 78/Rt. 309

DIRECTIONS:

• Take the Lehigh Street Exit (Exit 57).
• After the exit, travel north on Lehigh Street (this will be a left turn if you’re coming from I-78 East or a right turn if you’re coming from I-78 West).
• Stay in the right lane as you travel through six traffic lights.
• About 1/10 mile past the sixth traffic light, veer right onto St. John Street.
• Travel several blocks and make a right at the second traffic light onto South Sixth Street (you are now circling the Good Shepherd campus).
• Make the first left onto Wyoming Street.
• Make a left onto South Fifth Street.
• The Good Shepherd Parking Deck is located on your right.

FROM: Rt. 22 (Within the Lehigh Valley, Rt. 22 is a very recognizable road. It connects the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, traveling east to west along the northern end of the cities.)

DIRECTIONS:

• Take the Seventh Street South (Rt. 145 South) Exit.
• Follow Seventh Street approximately 2 miles through downtown Allentown. You will go through several lights.
• Seventh Street will end at Union Street. Make a left at this point.
• Stay in the left lane as you bear right down the Lehigh Street hill (the right turn is about 100 yards after your last turn).
• Go straight through one traffic light (at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.) and across a small bridge.
• Remain in the left lane as you proceed up the Sixth Street hill (you will go under a pedestrian bridge that reads “Good Shepherd”).
• At the second traffic light, make a left onto Wyoming Street (you are now circling the Good Shepherd campus).
• Make a left onto South Fifth Street.
• The Good Shepherd Parking Deck is located on your right.

FROM: Reading

VIA: Rt. 222 North

DIRECTIONS:

• Travel approximately 20 miles on Rt. 222 North. This road will lead to Allentown.
• Enter onto I-78 East.
• Take the Lehigh Street Exit (Exit 57).
• After the exit, make a left onto Lehigh Street and travel north.
• Stay in the right lane as you travel through six traffic lights.
• About 1/10 mile past the sixth traffic light, veer right onto St. John Street.
• Travel several blocks and make a right at the second traffic light onto South Sixth Street (you are now circling the Good Shepherd campus).
• Make the first left onto Wyoming Street.
• Make a left onto South Fifth Street.
• The Good Shepherd Parking Deck is located on your right.

FROM: The Poconos (Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, Tannersville, etc.)

VIA: Rt. 33 South

DIRECTIONS:

• Take Rt. 33 South approximately 20 miles into the Lehigh Valley.
• Merge onto Rt. 22 West.
• Travel approximately 11 miles and take the Seventh Street South (Rt. 145 South) Exit.
• Follow Seventh Street approximately 2 miles through downtown Allentown. You will go through several lights.
• Seventh Street will end at Union Street. Make a left at this point.
