Good Shepherd's Oncology Rehabilitation Program provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services designed to enhance the quality of life and improve the functioning of individuals and families affected by cancer. All program services reflect Good Shepherd's holistic approach to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of individuals and their family members. Goals of the Good Shepherd Oncology Rehabilitation Program include:
- Increased physical functioning and improved management of daily living activities
- Increased comfort and symptom control, including improved management of pain
- Increased awareness of the disease process and of treatment options available
- Development of individualized aftercare programs emphasizing ongoing disease management and wellness
