Good Shepherd Home Board Announces New Trustee

Allentown—The Good Shepherd Home Board of Trustees, the governing board for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, recently announced the appointment of James J. Daley, M.D., to the Board. Dr. Daley will serve on the Board during his tenure as president of the Medical Staff of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital-Allentown.

Dr. Daley is a staff physiatrist for the Good Shepherd Physician Group and has served as medical director for prosthetic and orthotic rehabilitation for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network.

Dr. Daley received a bachelor’s degree from Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts, and received a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He completed his residency at JFK-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of UMDNJ in Edison, New Jersey.

Prior to joining Good Shepherd, Dr. Daley spent four years in the U.S. Navy serving as a general medical officer and as an assistant chief of staff to a Combat Logistics Squadron. He is the recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal.
