Good Shepherd Plans 100th Anniversary Gala
Changes to Annual Pediatrics Fundraiser Also Announced

Allentown, PA—Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network will honor its 100 years of service to the greater Lehigh Valley community with a special Gala in the Garden on May 31, 2008. The invitation-only event will be held on Good Shepherd's newly transformed south Allentown campus, 850 South Fifth Street, Allentown, at 6 p.m.

At the Gala in the Garden, guests will travel back (and forward) in time as they stroll through the south Allentown campus. Historically appropriate food and beverage, and costumed guides, will be featured at five vignettes, each representing a different era in American history. One vignette will also offer a glimpse into the future.
Invitations to the Gala in the Garden will be mailed in the spring.

On September 8, 2008, Good Shepherd will hold a Golf & Tennis Invitational for Pediatrics. This event, held at Saucon Valley Country Club in Center Valley, will raise funds to help support the Good Shepherd Pediatrics Program, which provides services for children with physical disabilities and developmental delays, such as autism.

The Celebrity Classic Gala, which for 20 years was held the night before the golf and tennis tournaments for pediatrics, will no longer be held. It will be replaced with an annual spring gala, beginning in 2009.
