Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network Launches New Information Line
Customer Service Number Provides Patients, Clients and the Public With Information about the 27-Site Physical Rehabilitation Organization
Allentown—Need information regarding one of Good Shepherd’s physical rehabilitation programs or services? Looking for a convenient Good Shepherd location for your upcoming physical therapy? Want to know what fitness and aquatics classes are offered at Good Shepherd? Want to learn more about a Good Shepherd support groups? Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network recently implemented an information line that answers these questions and more. The new toll-free number is 1-888-44-REHAB (1-888-447-3422) and is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
This number will be a resource for Good Shepherd’s current and prospective patients and clients and the general public. Knowledgeable call advisors will provide answers to questions about inpatient and outpatient programs and services, provide information about and directions to Good Shepherd’s 27 sites, take registrations for events and transfer calls to outpatient sites and Good Shepherd’s physician staff offices during regular business hours. The line will accommodate English-speaking and Spanish-speaking callers.
“Because Good Shepherd is a growing network with 27 sites, it is important to have a toll-free telephone number where the public can learn about and then connect with our services and clinicians,” says Patty Stinner, director of Communications, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network. “Regular business calls to Good Shepherd’s patients and employees will continue to be handled internally through our main switchboard.”
The line’s call advisors will be able to answer specific questions about Good Shepherd, including information on the following: 4 inpatient rehabilitation hospital sites; the Specialty Hospital (long-term acute care hospital); 17 outpatient sites; 2 long-term care homes for people with disabilities; the Supported Independent Living Apartments; Clubhouse of Lehigh County; 3 thrift stores; the Work Services division; dozens of specialty inpatient and outpatient programs and services; support groups; classes, talks, events and educational opportunities; and the Good Shepherd physician group doctors. |
