Mild Brain Injury Rehabilitation
| Sports Concussion | Cognitive/Linguistic Treatment |
Also referred to as a “concussion,” a mild brain injury is the disruption of brain function due to trauma to the head, often the result of a car accident, fall, or assault. An injury of this nature is deemed mild if formal inpatient brain injury rehabilitation is not needed for recovery. If residual symptoms begin to affect normal daily activities, however, outpatient rehabilitation services may be required. Good Shepherd's Mild Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program provides assessment, intervention, and support services designed to enable maximum recovery following mild brain injury.
If any of the following symptoms persist following concussion, a referral should be made to the Good Shepherd Mild Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program. For more information, contact us today or call 1-888-44-REHAB (24 hours a day, 365 days a year).
