Since 1908, Good Shepherd has been providing long-term care for people with severe disabilities. Today, between our Good Shepherd Home—Allentown at the Conrad W. Raker Center and Good Shepherd Home—Bethlehem, Good Shepherd offers our community two state-of-the-art long-term care facilities with over 150 beds between them. Both locations are designed for individuals 12 years of age and older requiring residential nursing care. Primary diagnoses served include, but are not limited to, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, quadriplegia, Multiple Sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury.
Whether an individual requires a lifelong home or a stepping stone to independent living, Good Shepherd’s long-term care facilities offer the opportunity for patients to realize their fullest potential while living in a comfortable, professionally supervised environment. At Good Shepherd Home—Allentown and Good Shepherd Home—Bethlehem, we take care of the mind, body, and spirit of every person living at our facilities. Beyond therapy and medical service, Good Shepherd’s long-term care programs mean trying new things, having fun, and discovering unexplored talents.
