Joseph Shadid Named Administrator of Good Shepherd Home - Bethlehem
Joseph Shadid, RN, MSN, MBA, LNHA, of Bethlehem recently joined Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network as administrator, Good Shepherd Home – Bethlehem. Shadid previously served as senior director of nursing care services/assistant administrator at Moravian Hall Square.
Shadid is a licensed nursing home administrator, in addition to being a master’s level nurse and a wound care expert. He earned his MBA and MSN from DeSales University. Prior to his position with Moravian Hall Square, Shadid worked in nursing leadership positions for Lehigh Valley Health Network, HCR Manor Care and Kids Peace.
The Good Shepherd Home – Bethlehem and the Good Shepherd Home at the Conrad W. Raker Center in Allentown provide long-term, residential care for people with severe neurological and physical disabilities due to conditions that include multiple sclerosis, brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury and muscular dystrophy. Both facilities have earned a five-star rating from U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 Best Nursing Homes.
