Hand Rehabilitation
Good Shepherd's Hand Rehabilitation Program combines state-of-the-art technology with personalized care to restore patients' hands and upper extremities to their maximum level of function. Patients are comprehensively managed from the time of acute injury to return to work or to all past activities of daily living. The status of each patient is monitored with Dexter, a computerized hand evaluation system which provides valid and repeatable results of range of motion, sensation, power, motivation and endurance. AMA approved impairment ratings are automatically calculated to the AMA's most current guidelines for permanent impairment.
