Your doctor. So many expectations are wrapped up in those two words. People trust their doctors; they look to them for advice on how to take care of themselves and their families. People want doctors who love what they do, who understand how hard it is to stay healthy in today's fast-paced world, and who provide their patients with the best care available. At Good Shepherd, this is what we expect from each of our physicians.

Good Shepherd physicians are salaried, which means their income is guaranteed and not tied to how many patients they treat. Good Shepherd physicians are well respected in the medical community and are considered to be some of the best in their fields. Good Shepherd physicians understand the "human" side of medicine—the need to be compassionate and to know as much about who you are as about practicing good medicine.

Good Shepherd physicians are experts at diagnosing and treating a number of conditions. They care for patients with tendinitis, pinched nerves, fibromyalgia, and musculoskeletal problems such as back and neck pain. They also treat people who have experienced catastrophic events resulting in paraplegia, quadriplegia, or traumatic brain injury as well as individuals who have suffered strokes; orthopedic injuries; or neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis, polio, ALS, or Parkinson's Disease. In addition, they manage children and adults with developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy.
