Good Shepherd Names Cory Bond as Director of Respiratory Therapy7/20/2012
In his new role, Bond will provide oversight and manage respiratory care services for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, including: Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, Allentown; Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem; Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital Pediatric Unit, Bethlehem; The Good Shepherd Home at Conrad W. Raker Center, Allentown; and The Good Shepherd Home – Bethlehem. Bond will set goals associated with the pulmonary-ventilator program, monitor patient progress and treatment plans and collaborate with staff and physicians in order to achieve targeted outcomes. Bond’s qualifications include 15 years of hands-on experience as a respiratory therapist in emergency, critical care, neonatal intensive care and rehabilitation settings. In addition to being a registered respiratory therapist, he is certified as a neonatal and pediatric respiratory care specialist and is also a certified BLS instructor. Bond has been working at Good Shepherd for the past eight years. Bond holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from DeSales University and holds an associate’s degree in respiratory care from Lehigh County Community College.
