Good Shepherd Names Cory Bond as Director of Respiratory Therapy

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network recently named Cory Bond, RRT, NPS, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as director of respiratory therapy.

In his new role, Bond will provide oversight and manage respiratory care services for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, including: Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, Allentown; Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem; Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital Pediatric Unit, Bethlehem; The Good Shepherd Home at Conrad W. Raker Center, Allentown; and The Good Shepherd Home – Bethlehem. Bond will set goals associated with the pulmonary-ventilator program, monitor patient progress and treatment plans and collaborate with staff and physicians in order to achieve targeted outcomes.

Bond’s qualifications include 15 years of hands-on experience as a respiratory therapist in emergency, critical care, neonatal intensive care and rehabilitation settings. In addition to being a registered respiratory therapist, he is certified as a neonatal and pediatric respiratory care specialist and is also a certified BLS instructor. Bond has been working at Good Shepherd for the past eight years.

Bond holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from DeSales University and holds an associate’s degree in respiratory care from Lehigh County Community College.
