The Spine CenterSpine pain can be one of the most frustrating and depressing of all health problems. The good news is that most spine pain can be treated non-operatively with evidence-based medical treatment, including treatment with interventional spinal injections combined with physical therapy.

The Spine Center at Good Shepherd uses an interdisciplinary approach to help patients reduce their pain and improve their daily function. Our highly trained physicians and therapists carefully coordinate a personalized rehabilitation program that meets each patient's unique needs. The Spine Center provides comprehensive, non-operative care for back pain patients at a state-of-the-art facility which includes The Imaging Center (CT and MRI scan), a fluoroscopy suite with C-arm equipment for spinal injections, and a comprehensive physical therapy program.

The Spine Center treats a variety of common neck, back, joint, and other musculoskeletal pain disorders including work-related, recreational, and sports injuries. Common disorders evaluated and treated at The Spine Center include:

  • Neck and back pain, including postoperative back pain
  • Nerve root irritation, including sciatica
