RJ Foundation Mobility Center
| Directions |

Part of the Harry C. Trexler Center for Assistive Technology, the RJ Foundation Mobility Center includes the Good Shepherd Wheelchair Clinic and the Good Shepherd Adaptive Driving Program. The RJ Foundation Mobility Center is located in the Good Shepherd Health & Technology Center at Good Shepherd Plaza.

Good Shepherd Wheelchair Clinic
The Good Shepherd Wheelchair Clinic matches people with disabilities with the ideal wheelchair or mobility device for his/her disability and body type. This program allows people to work, recreate, and socialize more effectively while minimizing the possibility of muscle injury, pressure sores, or other physical discomforts that could arise from an improperly fitted mobility device.

The Good Shepherd Wheelchair Clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday. For more information on the Good Shepherd Wheelchair Clinic, call 610-778-1021.

Good Shepherd Adaptive Driving Program
The Good Shepherd Adaptive Driving Program provides driving evaluations and training to approximately 30 people per month. Upon initial evaluation, Good Shepherd makes sure that individuals are strong enough to drive and have no vision problems which would prohibit them from safely operating a vehicle. Those who are able to take part in the program then take to the road with an occupational therapist in an appropriately adapted vehicle. This therapist will then make recommendations for additional training and adaptive equipment.

The Good Shepherd Adaptive Driving Program is open from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. For more information on the Good Shepherd Adaptive Driving Program, call 610-776-3517.
