Good Shepherd is a nonprofit organization with 100 years of faithful commitment to serving our community through a wide array of rehabilitation programs and services. Charitable giving, supported in large part by donors like you, is central to Good Shepherd’s mission of helping those most in need.
As a donor, you can designate your gift to support a specific area of need through either Planned Giving or by making an Online Donation to a specific area within Good Shepherd:
Unrestricted Gifts
Donations not specifically designated for a particular use are unrestricted and applied by Good Shepherd to areas most in need, including our MS Wellness Program, Stroke Peer Visitor Program and Muscular Dystrophy Clinic.

The Shepherd's Circle
When you join The Shepherd's Circle, a donor recognition society, you'll enjoy benefits unique to Shepherd's Circle members, knowing that your gifts will be used where the need is greatest.

Pediatrics
Good Shepherd has the only two Board-certified developmental pediatricians in the five-county area, making our pediatric services—speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy—much in demand. Many children require long-term therapy not fully covered by insurance. Among the top diagnoses are autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, developmental delay, and learning disabilities.

Assistive Technology Program
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities by supporting the Good Shepherd Assistive Technology Program. Assistive technology helps people more fully participate in life so they can better communicate, work, play and do some of the everyday things most of us take for granted. Good Shepherd is a leader in the use and early adoption of assistive technologies and is a Center of Excellence in this field.

Work Services
Partnerships with area businesses provide work each year for hundreds of people with various disabilities who learn job skills and benefit from job coaching to build meaningful, independent lives. The Clubhouse of Lehigh County offers individuals with mental illness a safe, healing environment where each person receives full support in pursuing their personal and vocational potential.

Education/Conrad W. Raker Endowment Fund
At Good Shepherd, The Conrad W. Raker Endowment Fund supports employee education, enriching our staff and ultimately those we serve by helping us keep pace with today’s latest therapies and technologies. The Rev. Dr. Conrad Raker was the son of Good Shepherd’s founders. He served as administrator from 1941 to 1980, and was administrator emeritus through retirement until his death in November 2003.
