Scholastic Volunteers
Students may complete school-assigned community service hours at various Good Shepherd locations. School-sponsored volunteer release-time internships and arrangements with home-schooled students can also be accommodated.

Continuing Youth Volunteers
Positions are available to youth volunteers in various Good Shepherd departments throughout our service continuum. Hours will be arranged to provide students the opportunity to serve at Good Shepherd and also maintain their school schedules.

Summer Youth Program
Each summer, Good Shepherd offers a Summer Youth Program, which provides positions for approximately 45 applicants between the ages of 14 and 18. These students are placed in situations similar to those listed above.

Summer Youth requirements include a commitment to serve at least eight hours a week during the summer. Summer youth volunteers are also required to attend a four-hour orientation with Good Shepherd’s volunteer department and be trained by the department with whom they will serve. Orientations will take place at the site where students will serve.

To become a volunteer at Good Shepherd: Call the Good Shepherd Volunteer Department at 610-776-3125 or e-mail jfrey@gsrh.org for an application or for further information.
