Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is a recognized leader in providing physical rehabilitation care. Good Shepherd's facilities and programs and services are accredited by numerous independent agencies. These accreditations confirm that Good Shepherd provides quality care and focuses on facilitating positive patient outcomes.

CARF: Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities
CARF is an independent, non-profit accrediting organization, which works to ensure that high standards of care and quality are met by its accredited inpatient rehabilitation providers. Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital  has been accredited by CARF since 1983. In 2007, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital's Inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation Specialty Program became the first such program in the region to receive CARF accreditation.

Good Shepherd holds the following three-year CARF accreditations:

Joint Commission
All of Good Shepherd's health-care divisions are fully accredited by the Joint Commission, which is an independent, non-profit organization that accredits and certifies more than 15,000 health-care organizations and programs in the United States. Before an accreditation is granted, Joint Commission surveyors spend several days visiting the facilities, quizzing staff, meeting with administrators and observing care.

Pennsylvania Department of Health
All of Good Shepherd's health-care divisions are fully licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, which verifies compliance with state and federal health and safety standards.

International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD)

The Clubhouse of Lehigh County, which provides a safe healing environment for individuals with mental illness, holds a three-year certification from the ICCD. The certification is the longest offered by ICCD and demonstrates that the facility is in compliance with international standards of clubhouse programs. 

Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW)

Good Shepherd Work Services is fully licensed as a provider of vocational rehabilitation by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Public Welfare.
